Day 11: These are they

Day 11 (Saturday 2nd July 2011)
Day 11 was a big day for 105 saints – it was the Full-Time Training in Anaheim graduation! Praise the Lord! I really enjoyed their presentation of following the Lamb. Who is this Lamb? The Lamb is our Lord Jesus Christ, the one who accomplished redemption for us, and who is now both enthroned in the heavens and also in our spirit!

These are they who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He may go. These were purchased from among men as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

A little over a week ago was the End-of-Term Celebration Meeting in London. It was a really sweet time, with many students present. As well as enjoying a BBQ together, the purpose of this time was for the students and also the families to share their top enjoyment from this past year. A brother in Cardiff started off the sharing, despite not being there – he had emailed in his testimony!

I was so encouraged to see and hear these young saints sharing their enjoyment of pursuing Christ with all those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Some of them I had met when they came to the first welcome meeting back in September, and to see them now, overflowing their love for the Lord… just wonderful!

We’re reaching the end of the academic year now, and although students still have exams and schools are in session for a few more weeks, the Full-Time Training in London (FTTL) term has drawn to a close. Today was the graduation of five trainees who consecrated the past two years to the Lord to be trained in matters of Bible truth and church service. Their presentation today was a real testimony of their experience and enjoyment of the Lord during their time in the training.

Consecration and Duty

I’ve been super busy recently, hence the lack of promised updates – they are still coming! It seems to have been one thing after another – not in a negative sense, just that it is pretty constant! But.. I’ve been able to spend some major chunks of time on major projects, which I think is actually much better for my psychological well-being than doing bits here and there. (I read an article recently which was proposing that multitasking isn’t actually very healthy.) Anyway, there is still much on my plate, but as I stop for the day, I thought I would share a few things I have been gently mulling over in the past 24 hours…
