Well, where do I begin? So much has happened this past week, and with both L and A away, I was particularly busy manning reception whilst also taking care of my other work*. Yet surprisingly, although I really shouldn’t be surprised, I have been happy and full of rest all week, really enjoying the Lord’s grace. :) Yes, today it was more of a struggle to wake up before 6am, for the 5th day this week, but at the same time I have been enjoying my time with the Lord in the morning, throughout the day, and before going to bed.

Here is some of my enjoyment from reading through Life-study of Matthew. I’m progressing slowly but surely! And here’s where I plug Daily Enjoyment: One Line A Day… it really helps me to keep going!

Only by the divine life can we fulfill the requirements of the kingdom. It is easy to fulfill these requirements when we have the grace to do so. By our human life it is impossible, but by the divine life with the divine grace it is easy. In fact, it is a joy. What a joy to lay up treasure in the heavens!

From vanity to song

Well, I’ve not posted much because I’ve been so busy with everything! But I was reading something the other night, and wanted to share what I enjoyed:

3. Man without Christ will perceive
That all things are vanity.
Human life is meaningless
Without hope or purpose.

4. But when man takes Christ as life,
He’s in spirit born anew.
When he daily lives by Christ,
Vanity is turned to song.

I always enjoy my Lord’s day evening Bible reading and fellowship with a sister over the phone. This evening we were reading Acts 11:19-26, and I particularly enjoyed verse 23:

Who, when he arrived and saw the grace of God, rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain with the Lord with purpose of heart.

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found My delight. Hear Him!
