We have access

In yesterday’s prophesying1 meeting, I especially enjoyed the sharing from the saints related to this verse:

For through Him we both have access in one Spirit unto the Father.

I hadn’t seen so clearly before that there is a difference between being positionally reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:16), and going on to experientially “have access… unto the Father”, which is to continually enjoy the Triune God. It is truly marvellous to receive redemption, but what a pity if we stop there and do not come forward to experience the Triune God day by day! One brother illustrated it by saying he had got a job, which was great, but for a long time was missing out on all the extras everyone else was getting because he didn’t know he could use his access code to get them.

So, how do we continually enjoy God?

Have you ever felt like you’ve gone a little off track and need to come back to the point? Maybe you don’t realise it at the time, at least I know that I don’t, but before you know it, you have veered off the central line and are missing the mark.

I’ve been appreciating the fellowship recently on The Central Line of the Bible. Actually this was also the content of the recent International Conference here in London, and in the little I got from the conference, I think I got the key point… and that is, there is a central line in the Bible, and this central line is a wonderful Person!

Well, where do I begin? So much has happened this past week, and with both L and A away, I was particularly busy manning reception whilst also taking care of my other work*. Yet surprisingly, although I really shouldn’t be surprised, I have been happy and full of rest all week, really enjoying the Lord’s grace. :) Yes, today it was more of a struggle to wake up before 6am, for the 5th day this week, but at the same time I have been enjoying my time with the Lord in the morning, throughout the day, and before going to bed.

Enjoying God’s full salvation

The way to receive and enjoy the full salvation of God is to exercise our spirit, live according to our spirit, and remain in our spirit, with which is Christ, by calling on the Lord’s name.
